Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Bitten Development (“Ourside,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Ourside iPhone app and related services.
Information we collect
- Account. Sign in with Apple identifiers and, when Apple provides them on first sign-in, your name.
- Photos you provide. Reference photos you upload for yourself and people or pets you add.
- Generated pictures. Daily pictures created for your account and related generation metadata (day, status, configuration).
- Subscription status. Entitlement signals from Apple / RevenueCat needed to unlock Ourside Plus features.
- Technical logs. Limited operational logs (for example request timing and error codes) used to run and secure the service.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate you, generate and deliver daily pictures and widgets, provide Plus features, diagnose failures, and comply with law. We do not sell your personal information.
Sharing
We use processors that help operate Ourside (for example cloud hosting, image generation providers, and subscription tooling). They receive only what is needed to perform their work under appropriate agreements.
Retention
We keep your account data while your account is active. When you delete your account in Settings, we remove your photos, people, generations, and auth records from primary production storage. Residual copies in backups or logs are purged on ordinary rotation schedules.
Your choices
You can update people and photos in the app, manage Plus through Apple, sign out, or delete your account. After deletion, Sign in with Apple tokens for Ourside are revoked when available.
Children
Ourside is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date shows when it last changed. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
